About ProGreen Cleaning Company
I started ProGreen Cleaning Company in June 2009 as a direct result of my having been laid off from the job I had held for nearly ten years as a land survey field technician. Being unemployed with my two-year-old daughter, Victoria Rose, to help support and care for, I found myself faced with many new challenges, and with each new challenge a choice needed to be made. Cleaning up after a two-year-old is a challenge in and of itself; doing so in a way which ensures sanitary living conditions and sustainability became the foundation for ProGreen Cleaning Company.
With a few courses in chemistry from my days at Clark University and some experience in solid-surface floor maintenance from Sharfmans Jewelers, many, many years ago, I set out to create a company which considers the health of people and the environment equally. My search for the right products to use ended when I met Zach at RoVic Innovative Cleaning Solutions in Worcester, Massachusetts. I told Zach about the company I had started in my head and he immediately knew which products to suggest, based on their effectiveness and my demand that the products be environmentally preferred. Activeion Cleaning Solutions and Hillyard Industries manufacture products which satisfy both of my requirements; all the products are tested safe by independent laboratories and have been effectively used by me in the wake of Victoria Rose's paths of destruction. I will never use any product I would not feel 100% comfortable using in my own home, around the most precious person in my life.
ProGreen Cleaning Company believes the health of our environment is our health as well.
